Our Story

RexCo is an American creative studio founded by Nick Allen (C-Listers) and Troy-Jeffrey Allen (Bamn!, District Comics). We operate out of Atlanta and Washington, DC.

Writer=Producer Troy-Jeffrey Allen

The studio's first title launched in 2016 with Fight of the Century, a "biopunk" MMA comic supported by Kickstarter. Written by Troy-Jeffrey and Nick, the book featured art by Julius Abrera (G.I. Joe vs. Cobra), Netho Diaz (Marvel's Predator), Marcus Williams (Tuskegee Heirs), renowned painter Mshindo Kuumba, and more. Fight of the Century ("FotC") would ultimately go on to become a finalist at the Glyph Awards in 2019.

Troy and Nick continue to work individually and collaboratively inside and outside "RexCo." In 2018, Troy-Jeffrey began the comic strip series Frontiersmen with artist Matt Rawson for The Magic Bullet newspaper. In 2020, through RexCo, he and artist SMACK! released a posthumous tribute comic to rapper MF DOOM titled ALL CAPS. Later in 2021, Troy teamed up with Chuck D and Z2 Comics to contribute to Apocalypse '91: Revolution Never Sleeps, a spiritual sequel to Public Enemy's 1991 album of the same name. In 2023, Allen would contribute to Oddities, B-Sides, Discords: Lyrical Ruckus in the City from Oni PressThe graphic novel anthology celebrated The Wu-Tang Clan's Ol' Dirty Bastard. It cleared its Kickstarter goal in 72 hours.
